You and your page gave me so much I information, support and most importantly confidence when I was pregnant with baby #2! I still read the updates in my news feed regularly even though bubba is 11 weeks old. You truly are an inspiration to us plus sized mamas

I think this is a great idea! I was horrified when I worked as a hospital doula at what the nurses would say about patients, many of which I didn’t consider to be larger than NORMAL at all! It was then that I realized the bias in OB care for women of generously average to above average weight. Thanks for all the encouragement your website and FB page give. I honestly probably wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t learn to accept my body for the way it is. I am not a size two, and probably never will be, but I have brought an amazing boy into this world and I want my daughter (when she is older) to know I love myself just the way I am! I want her to celebrate life moments no matter her weight. I want her to know while she grew inside me that I loved myself with every pound I gained, and every stripe I earned. I want her to see confidence and beauty in people, and it can only happen if I love myself. I will not be ashamed of my body. I have gotten to that with the help of the articles you post, and the wonderful community of plus size momma’s on your FB page. - Ashlee
