I don't think this will be an issue for me. I'm planning a homebirth with just my hubby, midwife, and doula. If I have to transfer to a hopsital for some reason, I think I'll be so freaked out that I won't be worried about whose looking at me. The way I figure, most doctors and nurses have seen so many people naked that they aren't phased by it anymore. It's just another woman laboring to them. I like your ideas about the playlist and aromatherapy, I'm gonna steal those. I recently saw on tv that a new trend in America is women having professional hair and make-up done in the hospital post labor before having any pics taken. I personally don't get this. I mean, to each their own, but when I watch birth videos on youtube or look at pics I think the women are most beautiful right after birth. I'm not thinking, "wow they could really use some eyeliner and lipstick" …but that's just me.
