Bridget, consider watching the documentary The Business of Being Born with your husband. That helped my husband to understand why I was interested in the midwifery model of care. And as you get to interview care providers, he can have all of his concerns addressed. I’m truly wishing you all the best with your TTC journey.

So beautiful as a plus size woman TTC. Me and my husband both want two different things when the time comes. He wants to do the hospital to make sure everything is ok and I get that. But I truly want a home birth experience. I’m scared though being plus size and not being able to find someone to work with me that won’t h me down the path of a c section (not that there is anything wrong with c section route) it’s just I’m tired of not being able to feel like I have a say when it comes to my body because of my weight. It’s not right and I feel like is plus size women get pushed to the back burner a lot because of it. Especially around pregnancy and labor and delivery. This is going to be our first and it should be a time where it’s all about what makes the mother happy and comfortable not what they don’t want to have to deal with. So seeing your pictures and hearing your story has just lifted my spirits so much and you look AMAZING mama!!
