Maybe it’s the hormones, but seeing these photos is making me cry. I NEVER see anybody talking about apron bellies like mine or B bellies anywhere else. Being halfway through this pregnancy, finding this resource is amazing. Thank you!

Just found out I’m pregnant. I’m already in the obese category of BMI – but I also have major abdominal scarring that naturally makes my normal stomach into a bit of a “B” shape already. I’m really struggling with the idea of body image and MORE weight gain on top of pregnant, and not having a cute D bump like everyone else has. I’m glad to have this site as a resource. Thank yoU!

I was more concerned about my B belly because I wanted a nice D belly for my maternity pics. Around 8 months I finally got my D belly.Just in time for my pics. But even if I didn’t it was a blessing to be pregnant after 2 years of trying and one miscarriage.

It’s different for everyone, and for some, it never becomes fully round. BUT the important thing is what’s going on inside of your body. You’re growing a baby – and that’s amazing!
