I was gifted a hand me down Ergobaby carrier by my sister and did not like it. It felt uncomfortable on, and watching videos online I was not confident in my ability to get a baby in it and adjust it.
However, having tried my bestie’s Baby Bjorn, I scooped one up second hand and love how easy it is to get in and out of. Fits more comfortably around my 38J boobs (who knows how big they’ll get when milk comes in!) than the Ergobaby (which was tight and felt like babies face woukd just be mushed into them) and doesn’t have to be adjusted while baby is in it.

I sure understand not all carriers fit everyone – that’s why we have so many options, and I hope you find something that’s a better fit. Moby is listed because I surveyed plus size parents and it came up often as a favorite.

Disappointed to see Moby Wrap here. I have one and it only barely fits me and no other adult in my family. Definitely doesn’t belong in a list of carriers for plus sizes!

In reply to Amy. I’m surprised not to see Kinderpack carriers on this list. They are amazing buckle carriers that have plus size straps with more cushioning. They’ve been an integral part of my babywearing years.

I was so excited to buy an Ergo with the waist extender only to discover that they’ve stopped making them. Which for this plus sized mama (24) means I’ve gotta take my business elsewhere.
